Program Associate (Africa)

GDCI is seeking a Program Associate to support various Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) projects within the Africa region by reviewing or producing technical written and visual content (specifically street designs) and publications. This role will also support the development and coordination of capacity-building sessions and workshops, and may at times represent GDCI at external meetings, presentations, and events that support GDCI’s projects in select cities in the region.

Program Manager (Africa)

GDCI is seeking a Program Associate who will lead technical assistance in up to three cities in the Africa region through the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS). The person in this role will be expected to develop strong relationships with city staff, ensure the technical accuracy of street design recommendations, develop visual and written content, organize capacity-building sessions, and represent GDCI in external regional forums.

Associate Director – Programs and Designs (Asia, Africa, or Europe)

GDCI is seeking an Associate Director based in Asia, Africa, or Europe who will serve as a strategic bridge between high-level vision and on-the-ground execution of quality street transformations in over 30 cities around the globe. The person in this role will provide oversight of GDCI’s diverse portfolio of funded programs, co-lead a talented, multi-disciplinary team, support internal leadership needs, and advance critical decision-making.

Capacity Building Associate

GDCI is seeking a Capacity Building Associate who is a strong visual and verbal communicator and who enjoys and values translating technical urban design concepts into engaging, innovative, and accessible learning experiences for global audiences. The person in this role will assist in coordinating the capacity-building strategy and organization, and support cross-cutting capacity-building content development and delivery.
