In 2014, Bloomberg Philanthropies announced a new phase of the foundation’s Global Road Safety Initiative, committing $125 million to the goal of reducing fatalities and injuries from road traffic crashes.
The Global Designing Cities Initiative is establishing an ongoing Global Expert Network to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices amongst local champions striving to shape world-class streets in their local context.
This fall, NACTO will hold the fourth annual Designing Cities conference in Austin, Texas.
